Rain that hit Smoky Mountain Speedway just before hot laps Saturday and continued into the evening forced the postponement of the remainder of the weekend's wet Mountain Moonshine Classic.

Saturday's $20,000-to-win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series fell victim to rain just as Friday's $12,000-to-win event. Series and track officials plan to announced a makeup date Monday (hold on to tickets and armbands), the series announced.
